drive it until you run out of gas. If it takes quite a while, its probably your gage.

This sounds like it's your cars gas gauge. To be sure you should fill the tank at that station & see what happens.

had that happened to me ,but it was a faulty gauge, it stayed on "E" while it kept filling the truck up until the hose cutoff on me, so i thought the hose malfunctioned ,until i saw gas sloshing out the fillpipe, then i figured ,it was giving the gas but the gauge didnt work so i tracked my gas usage by "miles" driven vs my MPG and it fixed itself eventually now the guage works correctly ,,dirty gas can clog up your guage mechanism
fill a can with a gallon see if it measures ok, thats a good test

Yes....the stationowner has rigged his pumps to pump no gas. But, the pump will make a noise that will make you think you are getting gas. You are getting ripped off. If you take a match, light it near the tank opening, you will clearly see that there is no gas in your tank after "dispensing" from that theif's station.

Be able to prove your allegations first. Take a gallon container to this station and pump one gallon into it and see if you actually get a gallon, hold onto it and show the evidence to the Division of Weights and Measures. Seal the container up and don't bother it afterwards.

1. Get fuel someplace else and see if your gauge moves, if not, get it fixed.
2. Fill up a fuel can and see if the amount the pump says is pumped is the same as the fuel amount in the tank.
3. Buy your fuel someplace else and don't give them your business.

Have you gotten gas at a different station lately? Your gauge might be broken
