87 cents a gallon at my favorite gas station in New Braunfels,TX - in the mid 90's. :(

$0.57 in 1975 but during the gas price wars I have seen them as low as $0.19/Gallon

You could get gas at a no-name for $0.199/gallon, but it you wanted the good stuff you could buy Standard at $0.279/gallon.

I didn't drive much until gas went up to $0.599/gallon (1977 price in Wichita, Kansas).

Real low prices around 35 to 39 cents a gallen...no metric measure back then either....

We had it made back then and didn't know it.............

Metric measure screw us as well with the gas prices..............

They kept increasing the prices under the metric measures knowing people are still thinking it was imperial measuement when it was metric....

I remember 19 cents/ gallon at Walt's when my father was filling up before our vacation. But my actual price was about 92 cents/ gallon ( 1980)
