Enjoy Jersey, I may think about you this Winter when it is 70 and sunny or next Summer when its 85 with low humidity. Gas might be a bit painful but there are compensations.

CA is down $.28 in a few weeks, Nor Calif in down $.06 in that same period. Painful. Glad I was out of state for a bit.

In California we're getting from both the refineries and the state.
The state just raised our gas tax to the highest in the country.
Hope this keeps some of the out of staters out for the summer.
California used to be the greatest. Now they spend money like drunk sailors.
The East Bay portion of the bridge was going to be finished 10 years ago for 1.1 Million dollars. Not it's over 6 billion and still not open. They had a huge party planned for labor day for the grand opening, now it has slipped again to December.

GB says average is down but locally the stations are holding on and getting further above the average. Have to wait for fill ups until I go outside the local area.

I haven't travelled there in a while, so I've lost track of what the typical price is in California, in comparison to elsewhere.

High but you know that is relative to whose point of view. If you ask the gas companies and the govt they have a diff point of view.

Those working at real jobs mostly don't vote for the status quo, but those on the dole from the govt like the way things are. Add in those with guilt over social wrongs and you tip left. There are compensations for living on the left coast.

Aren't Motorists in California also voters? Why do they keep voting for the same party that consistently sticks it to motorists, financially speaking? Why???? A curious mind wants to know????

Come on, the houses only average a half to 3/4 M in most places. Gas up a dime in the past week, still painful.
