Never have and never would, when I want to go I don't want to wait on someone, besides my hours aren't fixed, the vary all over the place.

Many years ago I got taken in to take my boss home, and everyday he literally slammed the door off of my truck. If I had plans to go somewhere else, then I still had to cart his butt home. I don't want any part of car pooling as it takes away your independence.

I have in the past, with people I know. Don't like it. Much nicer driving alone.

I car pool with my spouse only. We also consolidate trips so we can get the best fuel economy. My job has erratic shifts so it will be tough to carpool with co workers.

Have carpooled in the past and will reconsider if prices get to the $4 range.

I thought about this but I guess I like listening to what I want on the radio stoping where I want to or not stopping at all, and generally being my self and you cant with other people in the car. Besides its your time to relax and be your self before you go to work and on the way home

Considered it and did it for a short while with a coworker I get along with. Quit to enjoy my alone time to work and back, the freedom before and after, and being able to always listen to what I want to, most of the time talk radio that I just couldn't keep up with when riding with a chatty kathy all the time.

Under no circumstances would I ever consider carpooling. Nothing but negatives involved. I will never put myself in the situation to depend on someone else to get me to work. Out of the question.

Yeah, if the strangers were blond, 5'4", 115 lbs and wore short skirts. I'd chance it.

What's the point? I run errands before I go home. If I carpooled I'd have to go home and go back out in my car.

I would only car pool with co-workers or friends. We need better public transportation and get away from the idea on one person per vehicle.

Car pooling works good if you are pooling with reliable partners.
It works best when carpooling with someone at your normal work site.

Haven't ever carpooled. Might consider it in a pinch if the person was reliable ... definitely not with strangers.

carpooling? I can't imagine a bigger PITA or nuisance. Do you really want to depend on some nitwit showing up to pick you up? Or even worse, to take you home? Or when you show up ,they haven't gotten out of bed yet? Bah! You gotta be nuts to carpool.
