When you load up the gasbuddy app and find the nearest station. Sometimes you see that only one or two prices have been reported. Like me do you sometimes pull into the station just to make sure you can report all grades and their prices???

On Saturday's & Sundays, I get up early just to go post prices. Getting that early start allows me to get to pumps. Weekdays, I post what I see on the signs.

Yes. Many times I do pull to the pumps so I can update all grades.

It drove me crazy when I was in Illinois that some stations would only post the regular and diesel prices. How are you supposed to know what the price is if you're buying 91? As a result, I would only report the prices on the signs, unless filling up.

In my home state, all stations always post all prices. How can these stations get away with this? Either post everything or post nothing.

Waste of gas and time. I only post what is on the sign unless I'm pulling in to fill up. Then I report everything that they offer.

bluenvoy said" I look at signs and here the stations go on 10, 15, 18 and 20 cent differentials. Just have to know witch station uses which differential. "

WRONG! You should only post prices you SEE, not what you think they are based on a historic price spread.

I am not going to pull into a station just to post prices! If I fill at that station, fine. Otherwise I just post as I drive by.

If I only have to make right turns, I pull into a gas station to report all prices. If I would have to make a left turn, I only report the prices on the sign when I'm stopped at the light. I'll go to the local mall (I usually go there to eat at the restaurants surrounding the mall) and report the stations on the north side of the road. I'll head back and report the prices on the south side of the road.

that will be too suspicious lol if I don't buy gas there. I sometimes pull into a parking lot after the station.

I am able to post certain stations by glancing at their signs but I do drive into the stations that carry 4 grades of fuel. I have figured out which local stations are the easiest for me to report and have developed a routine to check out their prices.

Sometimes. I live in an area where several stations are often at the same intersection, so I'll find myself sometimes trying to "catch the red" so I can pop the whole intersection out in the 30 seconds or so it takes to turn green again. If I miss the red, then yeah, sometimes I'll pull into one of the stations and update the intersection.

for some of them but usually only when i'm going into the store. a lot of stations are only posting 1 price now so it's becoming a pain. then in NJ there are a lot that have a cash price and credit price...probably based on the moon phase so forget it.
