. Saw it a second ago... $2.77... hope we can get down to at least $2.50 by election day... Dems want it lower to make Obama look good... Repubs want it higher to make Obama look bad...

. Some stations followed the GasBuddy/Kroger collusion for an instant 30c jump up to $3.19, but others stayed below $3... so the jump up failed in a matter of hours... $2.79 available now... Krogers back down near $3 again... will prolly have to go back below $3 to compete...

It has just dropped below $3.00 in this area, and I hope it stabilizes and stays that way.

Today! It was subsidized by the government. I would not buy the crappy blend even if you paid me to use it.

sorry thomnrosie,
California will always be disadvantaged on gas prices because there is about a 25 cent tax difference with California always being higher.

Saturday September 6 Exxon by me was 2.839 for regular if you paid with cash. Across the street at Chevron it was 2.919 if you bought and used a Chevron gift card. Wal Mart on the same corner was 2.899.

And with all that the line at Wal Mart was the longest even though it was not the cheapest. Go figure!

Go to the price page and search zip code 77581.

Saw $2.95 Tuesday at a no-name station, with the caveat that it was a cash price. The station also had "pay at the pump" for $3.05 for credit cards.
