While getting gas prices get the DIESEL price as well, you'll be helping truckers, helping keep delivery prices down and you get the points. Win win.

Admittedly, I only post the prices I see on the street signs (unless I am stopping at a station for a fill-up, myself). Many stations are only posting their "regular" grade price and nothing else these days.

But, when diesel is posted, I'm all over it.

Most stations here only have a sign for regular unleaded. For the rare cases where diesel is shown, I post it.

I regularly drive by only one gas station that sells diesel. I try to get the price every time that I'm on my way home. However, it is the only sign that is about 18" from the ground with prices running horizontally, so it can be difficult to see the price across 8 lanes of traffic.

I post them when I see them but usually do not go out of my way to pull up to the diesel pump when the price is not posted on a sign.

Post diesel prices if available, but don't fake it.

With one diesel car and one gasoline, I pay close attention to both and often see diesel prices posted at stations I know absolutely do not have diesel.

In addition to wishing this site had a "cash price" tag, I would wish for a "tax exempt" tag as well. Many diesel prices posted on signs are "tax exempt" and deceptive. If you qualify for tax exempt status then you know your discount. I find "tax exempt" diesel prices especially prevalent in Indiana. Not just on interstate.

I post a diesel price if it's posted on the signage. It often isn't posted in our local market.

I always do. One of my local stations is a truck stop and the other has a diesel pump which is not easily accessible to a semi. Sadly the price is always high (currently $3.78) and hardly ever changes at these local stations. Truckers need a break too!

Speedway and Sheetz usually have diesel posted on their signage, so when I see them I post them. Getgo, a local grocery chain related brand, sells kerosene that occasionally gets reported as diesel, since the signage show 4 prices, and it's easy to assume it's diesel.
