Saturday & Sunday mornings, I rise & shine early just to do some updating on Gasbuddy. Before I get started on route, I check Gasbuddy to see where I might like to fill up with gas.

I do this because they all have known good D2 at the best prices. I only buy at unfamiliar stations when on road trips.

Only caveat, is the Murphy station is about 30 minutes away.......so I'll only fill there if I'm "in the area".... But really, it's the same deal with Sams' before I got my membership I always used the Sunoco (cheapest station around.....not to mention their rewards program if you buy their concessions inside!) down the street from my girls house....

The Shell is usually one or two cents more, but then I like shopping at Kroger for groceries better than anywhere else in the area. I can take advantage of the Kroger PLUS Card discount of ten cents a gallon.

However, I have found that over time prices go up at a station that was once cheap and so I have to find another one that's convenient and has a lower price.
