Depends on what gas prices are doing. If GasBuddy notifies me that prices are going up I scurry to my local station regardless of how much I have left in my tank. Otherwise, I normally fill-up when my tank gets just below 1/4 full.

Depends on price fluctuations. Generally, I'll get gas when it gets to 1/4 tank but will fill sooner if prices are on the rise.

Depends on the price of fuel, since it fluctuates so much. Sometimes I'll fill up when I have half a tank left.

Usually between 1/2 & 1/4. When my low fuel light come on I have between 4 & 6 gallons left.

No lower than 1/2 tank, I have a 30 gallon tank...very costly to fill up when it is empty.

In the winter and on road trips, I will top off when it gets at half full.
THe rest of the time, I will top off when it gets to a quarter tank.
