Back on December 21st, 2012, I had just got off work & I thought I would check Gasbuddy real quick before I went home. There was a posted price of $2.79. My first thought was this was a possible bogus price, but I decided to run by that location since it wasn't too much out of my way going home. When I got there, it was as posted, I couldn't believe it. Every pump was busy, so I waited because I wasn't leaving until I got my share of this cheap gas, LOL.

When traveling, I watch gasbuddy for the cheapest prices but do not usually wander very far off my planned route.
