.. Was $2.72 here back in January... only thing that moves prices downward is only buying at lowest priced station(s) in your area... if you pay more, prices stay high or rise... plan your weekly route(s) to go by the lowest priced station and fill up only there...

I dont think so.. Gas volume sales peaked in 2007 so they will never reach $2.99 again. Oil companies have increased their margins and wholesale costs to fight the demand low.

I just got gas at VONS and with my 30 cent a gallon off I still paid $3.58.
