39.62 mpg = 792.4 miles on 20.0 gal of diesel. It's a B4 VW TDI wagon with the 26 gal. tank. On summer diesel it does 50+ mpg, this winter mixed stuff is not so good. Peace...

Last 420-mile trip with mostly highway driving in the Midwest... almost 33 mpg on a 4 cyl. '09 Hyundai Sonata. Pretty typical.

City mileage varies depending on traffic, temp, etc but is in mid-20's I believe.

Haven't a clue as we don't monitor...we purchase and use what we need, topping off whenever we're in town.

just got a new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid supposed to get 40 mpg average, we are getting around 39 right now but have not yet had to fill it up since we got it at Thanksgiving Black Friday 2014

Also own a Ford F350 Diesel Engine and get around 17.5 mpg (used to get 15.5 mpg then switched to Shell Diesel and I now get 2 miles per gallon more on average, our older Lexus RX 400h SUV we just traded in on the Lincoln got 3 mpg more on regular Shell fuel also when we switched this year to Shell)

Nissan Altima with the bigger engine gets 26 mpg

It varies, but way better than any EPA rated sticker stats. DIYing works with better driving habits, no gimmicks or lost investment.
