The gas station prices for "Duchess" at 561 E Main St & Mt Pleasant Ave, Lancaster Ohio 43130 have been wrong for months. Many family members and friends have driven out of their way to get what they thought was a good price on gas. The Station has been demolished. I repeat, there is no gas station at that location!

Did they stop being a dual priced station? If so, could you also upload new pics as the old ones show it is dual priced.

I have another irregularity here [L=/AddMasterStation.aspx?SM_ID=65855][/L]http://www.virginiagasprices.com/AddMasterStation.aspx?SM_ID=65855

It has gone back to c/c same pricing and I changed it, but the c/c fields still show?

About the time that the cash/credit came to the website, I noticed a station next to one that I used to frequent (b/4 Wawa came) was not having prices posted except rarely. Someone had posted prices on Thursday.

I finally got to the station a few hours after the prices were posted and found the station was closed. The price board was not only not lit, it had NO prices. It was dark so I couldn't see if there were any notices that would indicate for sale, or renovation - but suspect that they just couldn't keep up with the Racetrack neighbor and the Wawa set to open soon.

I tried to change it to closed but it kept saying it was deleted, even though it wasn't, so I reported it and CC promptly marked it closed. BUT, I see it still shows as MATCHED on my FSL and it shows as MATCHED. I thought the new matching was supposed to remove such stations automatically from FSL or at least show changed/unmatched. I will have to watch to see if folks still post to the station.

IMO, we should not be allowed to post prices for any station in any status of closed or deleted.

I seen no GBV polling that would involve a station status change, just station features. Also none that would involve the value of prices, except for asking "Are you sure?" type questions. If the actual prices are the problem, it is the member that makes the report that needs attention.

Just as an interesting aside, there is a station in my area that appeared to be a going concern in good shape on a very busy intersection. Another chain bought them out, reduced it to rubble, ripped out the modern double-walled tanking system (vintage '90s) and is now in the process of rebuilding to their own design. So the only way to know for sure what is in store (pun intended?) for the property is to ask. I found out from the company doing the excavating, but some city/county jurisdictions show all commercial permits online. "You can ask a lot by questioning." -- Yogi Berra... (No, not really.)

Didn't work as the GB_Direct price came back 15 minutes after I changed the station to Closed. Will try to contact moderators.

Thanks bimmergary. I changed the status to Closed - Temporarily since I didn't know if they were going to build another gas station at that location. (We had a Speedway last year that completely demolished their structure and removed tanks from the ground only to build another one in that exact location).

Also, please report the member(s) posting bogus prices to the Moderators so they can take action against him/them.

You have enough points to change the Master Station List. Go to Gas Prices - Master Station List, and search for that station. Bring it up and change the status to Closed - Permanently.
