The ability to see the station comments seems to have been restored at the full website. This seems to be a very recent feature update since comments were not visible this morning; or none of the stations I searched this morning had a comment to view.

The comments behavior is temporary and overwritten or erased with the next price update, just as it was before.

The comment seems it can be different per grade; I don't remember if that is the same behavior as before the (approx. June 17, 2014) website upgrade or not.

Well then this mystery is either a local web site issue or something in my machines. I definitely was not seeing station comments on the price updates I posted with comments.

This can be locked then.

Checking this thread, it was confirmed that the comment issue was fixed on June 27th, after being reported broken on June 26th.

That hasn't been my experience. The per station (between parenthesis) comments from the FSL were restored in just a couple of days, and were displayed in the search results on the full web site.

No! not the comments saved with a station in your FSL.

The comment visible (between parenthesis) under the station address in any list of prices is what my OP was ref to.

AFAIK the comment visible (between parenthesis) under the station address in any list of prices had been removed from the full web site as part of the June 2014 site upgrade.

The per-station saved comments in the FSL had disappeared for a few days and were restored, but there was no station comment field in a list of prices where those comments from an FSL could be displayed.

Don't know what to tell you. The comments in my FSL have been visible for weeks; they were only broken for two or three days.

And I wouldn't be caught dead using the apps. My iPad and iPhone have a perfectly wonderful browser to utilize the full site.

bytebug, I could not see any comments in search results after posting prices from my FSL, which has a saved comment for most stations. I noticed comments were once again visible in search results around Aug. 1.

I understand from reading other forum posts that comments were visible on some of the smartphone apps, but this is in ref to posting prices and viewing stations on the full web site.

I need them back in the mobile app. Of course it might be better if I am forced to have a cooling off period before I comment about someone who has posted incorrect prices or unavailable fuel grades. :-)

Now it's time to put them back on the app. After all TPTB want us to enter route numbers and other stuff in that field.

GGG: Yes, before you could have comments for each fuel/grade if so desired.

Comments were restore the first week after the changes that removed them — more than a month ago!
