Hello. I don't have the 10,000 point in order to use the master station list, but I'd like to contribute. Could someone please add the following station to the master list: MFA Oil Co. 8751 S. Business Hwy 37 Purdy, MO 65734 Nearest cross street is Farm Road 2090. Station sells regular, mid grade, and diesel. Station accepts all major credit cards. Fuel available 24 hours a day. Phone 417-442-3969.

Thank you!

Maxster, I believe the issue was resolved on the local forum. Odd but the first post he made over there was closed by the mod and a new sticky made for MSL.

slsf1 tried with two threads to get it done, and it was finally done on this thread:
Please add MFA Oil Co. to Purdy, MO (non MSL member)

I think your best bet is to either earn the points to add the station yourself (up to 975 can be earned daily) which should not take too long or find another local member to add it. Another local can verify the information before adding it where others can not. Posting this in your local discussion board.

MFA Oil Co. is located on South City Hwy 37. It is south of the Purdy Diner. The station offers regular (85 octane), mid grade (87 octane), and diesel fuel. The nearest cross street is Farm Road 2090. The station accepts Master Card, Visa, and MFA Petro Card.

Sorry for the confusion regarding this location. Many residents refer to the street where the station is located as business highway 37.

CK - He said it was near Farm Road 2090, not 1090.

Looking at Google Maps, the only gas station on 37 is a Philips that is already in the MSL. There is a S. City Hwy 37 one block away, but I can't get any google pictures down that road.

That location situation is strange. Google maps shows a Purdy, and further south a Butterfield MO. There is a Farm Road 1090 in the latter, but not the former. 1090 is called Ash St where it intersects Bus Hwy 37 in Butterfield.

How is a community shown on the MO site, by the above names separately, or by USPS practice, which would be Purdy for the entire (ZIP) area?

There is a Purdy but it isn't in the dropdown and currently there is only a Conoco on the MSL.

For the moderators:

There is no Purdy listed as an "area of choosing" in order to assist the member. Please review this request.

Can you confirm if the station is located on (near) South City Highway 37 (and not South Business Highway 37 as you indicated in your original post). If so, is the MFA station near Purdy's Diner (which I believe is on SCH 37).

Could you please confirm that the station sells regular, mid-grade, and diesel (as noted in your original post) and does not sell premium. As an aside, mid-grade is generally made up of a blend of regular and premium, and is seldom delivered to a gas station as a stand-alone product.

Can you identify "all major credit cards? (Generally a non-major credit card is one that a store or gas station doesn't accept, and not all gas stations accept Diner's Club, Discover, or what some consider to be a "major credit card".)

Also, as a suggestion, until you have "senior status" (i.e., 10,000 or more points), you may want to make similar requests in your local Missouri (or other) discussion category where your request will be seen by local members who are able to confirm the information you want posted. While members across the United States and Canada reading Talk Back To Us can assist, your local members can more readily confirm the accuracy of your information. But that's just a suggestion.

Appreciate your contribution to the website and I'm sure your fellow Missouri Gas Buddy members will look forward to your gas price posting to help them be more knowledgeable shoppers.
