That pop-up is the most annoying ad - - - EVER!

I click on the close button, it comes back. I answer, it comes back. It is the VAMPIRE of POP-UP ads. I wish it would go away.

Thanks for reading my rant. Anyone else that doesn't like it, or you do like it?

When I use GasBuddy here at work, no banners pop up, so I guess the network security is better here.

Never see it. (adblock here too) If everyone found out how much adblocked actually blocked, too many would use it and they'd find a way around it. I like not having video ads play on Youtube. Shhhh. I didn't just let out that secret did I?

The title of the thread is "Anybody that gets annoyed by the VOICEFIVE scrolling pop-up?" The answer is "Yes it is." Meaning, yes that pop-up is annoying.

Yes it is what? Or, what does "Yes it is" mean?

That's all that needs to be posted on these threads that complain about ads.

JunGleJimBo, I haven't seen that ad, myself -- and most likely, neither have the moderators. So they have no way of addressing the problem, even though it sounds as though the advertiser is in violation of the contract.

See Don's message in this topic for a very detailed writeup of how to identify the advertiser so that the mods can take appropriate action against them.

Eliminating most annoyances can be accomplished by simply eliminating the malware Flash from your system. In addition to eliminating annoying ads, you also significantly reduce the risk of being infected by various other malware. At this point, nearly all legitimate sites have stopped using Flash in favor of more modern technologies, so there is little downside from removing Flash from your system.

I don't see any ads. I see white space. You could see the same thing as well. Adblock.

I have never seen that specific ad. While the ads may seem annoying they are the reason this site remains free to users so some tolerance is needed. That said, I rarely ever see pop-up ads because of how I have my browser settings.
