This has been done for you the maximum alotted times. We're not trying to pick on you. Your question about consecutive days has been answered, and this topic attacking the moderators is being locked.

Topics are locked when an issue has been addressed or a question has been answered.

You do not have any remaining consecutive day restorations.

This has been done for you the maximum allotted amount of times. Continually restoring your consecutive days defeats the purpose of this system, that is why we have limited the number of times we will do this.

We're sorry you were continually having issues logging in to your account etc, but the issues you were describing have been largely unique to your account/computer/ISP/device/etc and is something outside of our control. If we were having major site issues and problems with our database, it would not just have been your account that was affected. This is an automated process that works the same for everyone.

In the event people lose their consecutive days due to an actual server problem (which does not happen as frequently as some members would like to describe to us) or because of some other failure of some sort, we're made aware by our server admins of the issue, and when consecutive day complaints are encountered related to that event, they are resolved.

Your log in issue would now appear to have been resolved, and I'm glad that you can continue to actively use the site, but we're no longer making this change for your account.

If you have any further questions or problems related to your personal account details feel free to contact us here

Yup it is their site. But let us not forget it is the volunteers who built this site to what it is today. And yup the moderators are in charge but the way they go about things at time is aggravating as well as frustrating to those of us who only have the good of the site in mind.

So, if they lock this thread, would that questionable?

For heaven's sake, it's their website. Locking or deleting threads aren't "questionable actions", and moderators don't have to defend their locking or deleting topics. In most cases topics have been locked because it's been very evident that the discussion has either run it's course, has diverted from the original issue (either the topic title or the original post), or the carping about what the website is, is about, or what the moderators did or didn't do has gone beyond what's appropriate.

What questionable actions are we discussing? I understand the closing of thread regarding the quest for reinstatement of consecutive days (which is, I assume, what prompted this thread) may not be in the best interest of the individual member, but the moderators have answered the concerns; maybe not to the satisfaction of the member, because their response isn't the response the member wanted, but the moderators have answered the concerns. In what they believe is in the best interests of the website.

Sorry, but beating what apparently appears to the moderators to be a dead horse isn't a questionable action. Nor should the moderators have to keep responding to what they think has already been responded to.

Sorry, but regardless of what I may think of the previously closed or deleted issue (if it's the one I think it is), the moderators have every right to determine the path of discussions. It's their website, not ours; we're only users.

And, at the expense of some members disagreeing, this thread is simply one of carping and I wouldn't have any objections if the moderators locked it.

I love how people continue to beat a dead horse after having their complaining addressed and fixed many times over.

It speaks volumes.
