CelticHeart / scoutmaster:
You're being cynical, something I'm often called when I suggest that members (especially long time members) post gas prices once in a while.
In only two days since this topic was started, the member has earned 250 points (I assume one gas price and 100 other points, but perhaps some other variation of points), increasing her points level by more than 10 percent. Said another way, in only two days she's increased the points she's earned in her first nine months of membership by more than 10 percent.
Considering (assuming?) her concern is to "buy more tickets" (as she said in her original post), assuming she keeps her current points earning rate, she'll be able to "buy" a ticket every four days. And you're cynically saying that "that doesn't matter much"? What kind of effort do you expect the member to make?

Was just going to say the same thing, scoutmaster. Doesn't seem to matter much.

Post more prices, earn more points, buy more tickets.
It is possible to buy a ticket almost every day.
In case you aren't clear yet on the point totals, there are TWO totals. The home page, and the total shown with your name and profile is the total you have earned since joining. You can buy tickets with those points, and the "Purchase Prize Give-Away Tickets" shows the remaining balance you have to buy tickets with.

Apparently this wasn't all that important.

Your home page shows that you bought one ticket. That would be for the current drawing.
You've been a member for approximately 9 months during which time you've "earned" 2,350 points (the 2,330 you saw on your home page, plus the 20 points for creating this topic). Is it possible that during your nine months of membership that you "bought" one other ticket that you may have forgotten about?

Have you used your points for tickets in the past?

Tickets are only shown and valid for a one week period, you must have bought tickets other weeks.

LAtraveler56: If tickets are something you want, max out your point total every week. Your current point total can be earned in 3 days, so plenty of points have been left on the table since joining. The extra points will allow you to purchase many more tickets.
