I noticed that Salbato84, the top half-year point leader, has a profile that shows something like "can't be found", yet his/her point total keeps going up and is in the lead. Make any sense? The member, apparently, is only "banned" from some activities, not banned from all Gas Buddy activities or points activities? I understand the sentiment but as long as Gas Buddy is allowing the member to take part in activities that result in his/her being at the top of the list, I defer to the current process.

They aren't eliminated (unfortunately) because GasBuddy doesn't want to deal with bozos who would try to take legal action over being eliminated. I can't blame GasBuddy for making a system that makes some of the banned members not realize they are banned. So they show on the leader boards, they make price posts that they can see, they make forum posts that they can see, and some of them continue whatever got them banned using the whiteboards.
