I got down as far as cash-credit and found that two recent topics, namely: topic=519216, NYCmob79 Nov 15, 2012 7:46:47 PM topic=519256, tboy160 Nov 16, 2012 6:27:52 AM were gone ("We're sorry! This topic is no longer available"). I checked to make sure nobody was on ignore, so that's not the answer. Are reasonable and not-offensive topics being deleted nowadays for some reason? These two topics did exist, because the links and OP date-times were copied and therefore couldn't have resulted from "Linkheimers" on my part. One author has another topic in existence, so it is not as though the member was deleted. Any ideas what happened to them? (I may run across more of these as I progress down the list. Whatever it is, it may explain why I wound up with a few orphans that were originally part of the list, but could no longer be found when going back to collect the URLs for adding links.) It would appear as though you've discovered that some of the topics you've linked to from your site to ours are now "broken" because we removed the content that your hyperlinks point towards. In response to "Are reasonable and not-offensive topics being deleted nowadays for some reason" Sometimes users request to have their topics removed. In the case of topic ID 519216, the OP NYCmob79 stated "If there are moderators please delete this topic..." within the topic. As a reminder, all posts and topics are subject to change or deletion at the moderators’ discretion and without explanation. I would like to reiterate CK should not be allowed to start any more new topics. This one really has no purpose and when CK is asked direct question all one gets is gibberish.

Given the topic, and TPTB's refusal to address the issue in a manner that amounts to something more substantial than spin, these topics may well be offensive.

Why are you testing every link? Were you asked to do this? What do you hope to achieve? As far as the orphans, they were probably removed by the moderators.
