Looks like I will have to get a new android as my current phone is starting to fail. Can I move my ap and all history to the new phone or am I stuck having to start over from scratch?

Naw, let's leave it open. Without proper ventilation, the gasses given off by old messages may eventually build up and cause explosions. At the very least, they will cause the topic to "puff up" and chafe against neighboring topics, which could result in accelerated wear and premature failure, especially if, in its delicate condition, a neighboring topic is bumped after two months or more.

(Now we know why the bumping rule exists. It all fits.)

regulate now's info was spot on. Got my new phone tonight and as soon as I downloaded the ap and signed in all my data was there (not that I doubted, just posting for others who come along in the future).

I have replaced my phone and know this with experience... plus my wife and I both have accounts here and share phones, plus using an android tablet, and pc... With any android device, simply logging in will retrieve your data from the GB mobile site. Nice to know too if you need to 1/re-install the app, 2/delete the data, or 3/ delete the cache... I've done all with bugs or crashes to trouble shooting the issue. I would guess it's the same in IOS (apple) if anyone wants to verify that...

Great.

I figured my points totals and standings would carry over because I see them on-line as well but didn't know if the rest of the stuff (awards etc) would carry over.

Thanks

I started to post earlier what your history, points, etc., were screen-name associated, and not associated with the app on a specific device, but I wasn't sure where I read that so I bit my tongue because rather than say what I wasn't sure about. But now that regulate_now has said it, and has ventured into the muddy waters of answering, I want add my agreement to his post.

Just download the app to the new phone and log in, all your history/progress/data will be there...
