tieflyer,
Some awards like the Commuter award will be calculated after each consecutive day, if it checks out that you reported a price from the mobile apps in the AM and PM of that 24 hour period, to the best of my knowledge, when the next consecutive day starts your Commuter award would then tabulate and increase.
If you look at how the consecutive day system works, you wouldn't earn your first consecutive day until you've accumulated points on 2 consecutive days (day 1 is considered "day 0" [day 1 = day 0], when points are earned on day 2, "day 0" then becomes day 1). Apply the same idea to the award, only with an additional check for price posting activity.
For some awards, if you consistently miss the requirement for the award it may appear like it is not calculating, where as it may actually just be constantly restarting. Like the consecutive day system, if a user keeps missing posting prices for consecutive days, the would never see any improvement from 0 days.
I'm just looking at your price posting history right now, there are some gaps in your recent price posting for the PM of 1/21/2013, the AM of 1/19/2013 (first record of price points 1:12:36 PM), the AM of 1/16/2013 (first record of price points 4:51:38 PM), the PM of 1/12/2013, etc.
With that in mind, the award might look like it's never accumulating when it's constantly being reset.
I hope this helps.

The requirements to earn an award:
*Reporter Just report prices
*Iron Man Post at least one price per day
*Explorer Report prices at different stations
*Perfectionist Report all fuel grades at once for a station. Don't post prices for fuel grades a station doesn't sell.
*Adventurer Report prices for stations in different cities. See GPS note below
*Pioneer Report prices for stations in different states. See GPS note below.
*Night Owl Report prices between the hours of 12am and 6am, your home site's time (or station's time; this is still unclear)
*Sunday Driver Report prices on a Sunday
*Commuter Report at least one price between midnight and noon, and another price between noon and midnight. You must report prices in both the AM and PM on consecutive days or your progress will reset to 0. If you had previously earned an award you will have to start over but will not lose any previously earned awards. Example: If you report prices in the AM and PM on Thursday and Friday , and just the PM on Saturday, your progress will reset to 0 on Saturday afternoon.

**General requirements (revised) Only prices reported via the app count towards awards. Prices reported via the web or mobile web don't count but DO count towards your overall points, 90 day rank, etc.
**Frequency of posting If you report prices for the same station in a short amount of time, you will not earn awards for the subsequent postings. It is believed the timespan is approximately 10 minutes.
**Notes on GPS In order to earn awards, your phone's GPS must have an accurate fix and you must be less than 10 miles from the station that you're reporting from. If you are more than 10 miles away (or your GPS is reporting that you are) you will not earn credit towards the awards but will still earn points. For more information on how your location is determined, see this topic.
**Previous credit Awards are calculated based on your app activity since October 5, 2011 (the day the awards were introduced)
**Purpose The purpose of the awards is disputed. Various reasons include Gamification, encouraging more frequent posting, and generally making the app more fun. Various complaints include that there is no purpose and that they lead to inaccurate posts. Remember that you can't please 100% of the people 100% of the time.

The levels require multiple days as you go farther up them... One day does not always equal 1%
