I tried to start a topic about how to avoid posting errors in General Gas Talk, but was told this would be a better place for it. Here's a nutshell version of what has accumulated there so far:
1. If you're using list view, make sure you reload the list before posting prices.
2. Even after reloading, make sure the station you touch/click on is the one you actually want.
3. If you're at the pumps, remember that the grades aren't always in sequence.
4. Use the favorites list.
5. Don't try to post too many prices when you're in a hurry.
Some of these are more from the point-of-view of using the Android app, but I believe could apply across all platforms. Also, I found out later that there's more information in topics in various places with titles including "fake prices" or some similar words. It would be nice to accumulate that wisdom into the FAQ so we wouldn't have to learn so much 'the hard way.' What say ye?
