i just used to go alabama and it uses same route just uses diferent gas stations with lowest pries and takes into account your mpg, so where you will need to fill up. Great feature.

mnaybe it takes into account. easier, one-way streets, less traffic lights etc.

It depends on where you are going. I just mapped used the calculator to map a trip to Lancaster, PA and it used the same route both ways.

That's a GREAT feature. Completely different routes coming and going would make for less boring trips!

Turn restrictions, one way roads, and traffic conditions.
BTW, GasBuddy uses Google's routing engine and has no control over the directions.
