It can happen when I click on a station to look at its details window, or when I try to close the details box or even when I try to click on "submit" to enter a price. Instead of completing the desired action it zooms in. In addition to not completing the desired action, this is very disorienting because it is not easy to see where it zoomed into compared to where I want to be. Sometimes it shifts to a whole different area (such as from Minneapolis to St. Paul). A little while ago I was trying to submit a price, and every time I completed the price and selected the proper time and then clicked on "Submit", it zoomed in. I then had to find the correct station, repeat those steps, then when I clicked "Submit", it did it again. I had tried zooming out before re-entering the information, but that didn't work and it continued the zooming, so finally I had to let it zoom in again and again until it was all the way zoomed in and only then it took the price entry. This also happens if I am just looking at prices. Often I have to click the station to see the details to know if it is the station I'm looking for or where exactly it is located. This gets very aggravating and makes using the site a nuisance. I prefer using the maps because I can follow a route. I do not always go to the same places so using the favorites is not appropriate. I am very visual so being able to retrace my route helps me to remember the stations and prices. etc etc I only use a desk top Apple computer.

But I mainly use the same browser (FF) and don't zoom except for downloads in Preview, and it has not happened there. Is that what you mean by "other software"?

I've been using this same mouse for a at least a couple of years so I'm very used to it. But I paid attention to that just in case, when I posted a little while ago. It happened again, but not as much as last night. I definitely did not accidentally hit the scroll wheel.

The reason I ask is because I had a similar issue with Chrome that when I used the scroll wheel on my mouse, it would not scroll but zoom the page in and out. I never figured out what it was but I did shut Chrome down and start it up again and it went away.
