Rather than start a new thread, here is what I see locally.....
Three stations, all in less than a mile stretch, their diesel prices are $4.17, $4.19, and $4.21
The $4.17 and $4.21 I get the "Price too high" question, but not for the $4.19
I could see the highest price getting that, but why the lowest and highest, but ignoring the middle?

I noticed the same thing, and because of what was becoming my automatic reaction I've even managed to answer a different notice incorrectly (the too far away message) as "Yes I'm sure" so I ended up posting to the wrong station.

Regardless of the mechanics of it all, I just had a personal reaction this evening that is troubling: I have seen the msg pop up so often that I automatically, without thinking, pressed YES. If that is what people's reaction will become, it's usefulness will evaporate; it will be like clicking "skip this ad" on YouTube.

ziyulu,
The agree that the warnings still seem to get high and low backwards in some instances. (I think the developers worked on this problem a bit about six months ago.) I tried to replace an incorrect premium price of $3.799 with the correct price of $4.799 and was warned by the app that the $4.799 price "seems too low." To make matters worse, the other price checker (it appears to me that there are two: one that presents the warnings and another that simply refuses to accept prices that seem out of range without giving any warnings) refused to accept the $4.799, leaving in place the incorrect price that was off by a dollar.
The good news is that I messaged the moderators and within a few hours (amazingly fast!) the developers apparently modified the price checker's limits in that area so that the high prices at that and other stations started being accepted.

Yes, I tried to replace a diesel price of $3.949 with $3.889 and it warned me that my price was too high.

I have gotten the question with all of the grades when reporting same prices or lowering them with the android app.

Yes, that is where I am seeing it, too. Today I got it when updating diesel involving the same price.

Sounds like the same issue I brought up in another topic except the only time I'm seeing it is with diesel. Still hoping for a fix...
