The sanity check is inappropriate for a couple of reasons - first, the prices I'm entering are in line with other diesel prices in the area and second, I get the warning when lowering prices. It seems to me that the diesel price sanity check in the iPhone app might be keying off of the regular gasoline prices (simply because regular gasoline prices have fallen something like 60-75 cents/gallon recently, but diesel prices have barely moved.

To "THIS SEEMS A BIT HIGH. ARE YOU SURE?" one has the urge to answer, "OK, THEN, WHAT PRICE WOULD YOU LIKE? I'M FLEXIBLE." :-)

I was kind of hoping that with the increased participation in this forum by the mods that one of them would acknowledge this post, but it seems that is not going to happen...

Happened twice on my way home today - lowered price from 4.09 to 3.99 at one station and got the "too high" warning, and another going from (I think) 4.15 to 3.99.

Many stations around the area were in the $3.10s.
