Yup, still happening - any manually entered price seems to cause the warning even if it is the same or lower than the current price.

I've noticed recently that often merely copying the existing (correct) price over to the diesel input field will trigger the demon. To "THIS SEEMS A BIT HIGH. ARE YOU SURE?" one has the urge to answer, "OK, THEN, WHAT PRICE WOULD YOU LIKE? I'M FLEXIBLE." :-)

I haven't needed to manually enter a diesel price lately since none of them have changed but I'll give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes.

I emailed one of the GB Moderator and told them about the problem. It seems like it has been fixed in my area.

This is happening to me too, on my iPhone app. If I recall correctly, it's just with diesel, which is currently about 75 cents higher than regular in my area.

hyeglenn,
Maybe it's time for a new operator.

kwzh, that's my best guess also. I was kind of hoping that with the increased participation in this forum by the mods that one of them would acknowledge this post, but it seems that is not going to happen...

I think the Are-You-Sure heuristic is (incorrectly) comparing the price you entered against the average price for *regular*, and hence it's more likely to trigger when you're entering the price for premium.

I get this message predominately when I'm posting premium prices. I've even gotten the (price seems high) message when I'm entering the same price as the what's already posted. What's up with that?
I have an iPhone 4G.

Huh? hyeglenn, nothing is wrong with the phone, it is the GB app telling me the price is too high.
FYI, it happened twice again today.

It only happens for the diesel entry. It even happened when I entered something under $4.00 per gallon.

For me, it is only affecting diesel price entry, and it happens even when I'm lowering the price to at or below the prevailing diesel price in the area. Happened twice on my way home today - lowered price from 4.09 to 3.99 at one station and got the "too high" warning, and another going from (I think) 4.15 to 3.99.

I got a warning the other day for entering a price of $3.299 for regular saying the price seemed too low. Many stations around the area were in the $3.10s.

I'm still seeing this, is anyone else experiencing similar behavior?
