it was below 45f this morning, and all 4 tires were 5 pounds less...that could be about 5% to 10% less fuel efficiency.

I found out a neighbour is removing some air from 1 tire each week. I live in a condo complex. I wish I could catch him or her?

I need to adjust all my vehicles tire pressure. My truck is OK until it falls below 0. It has already been there and they are low then.

My tires are a little low on pressure, but that's good in the icy roads right now.

"TPS only comes on when the tire pressure is anywhere below 25% of recommended tire pressure. For a car with a 32 psi recommended tire pressure, losing about 5 psi will not trigger TPS. The only time the TPS lighted up was when my spare tire deflated to less than 20 psi. I thought it was a faulty TPS in my tires, I didnt suspect the spare tire at that time, until a little a deductive investigation by elimination."

Most TPMS which only provide an idiot light do provide a RESET switch which defines the trigger pressure at about 75% of the pressure observed when the RESET was activated.

So if you would like a warning for 5 PSI or less, over inflate your tires. Take the pressure you would like the alarm to sound and divide by 0.75. Inflate your tires to that pressure. RESET. Drive around a bit to make sure the setting takes (read your manual). Then lower the pressure to normal.

Lets say you run 40 PSI and would like an alarm at 37. Then 37/0.75 = 49.3 PSI. Inflate to 49 PSI. RESET. Then lower the pressures back to 40.
