I have an Esso branded Visa card and use the Esso points I accumulate for gasoline discounts. Right now I have a loyalty reward card which will get me $.05 per litre discount.

Do you use programs like these?
Are they worthwhile?

Yes I use the Kroger Rewards program. 1 point for every dollar. 100 points is 10 cents off a gallon. All the way up to a dollar. Who would really spend a thousand dollars on grocery's?

Yes for any station that has one. I will go to the cheapest station, the points are not worth paying more. I do get some free gas.

Our local grocery chain in KY/VA/TN called Food City has a program where you can get fuel points by buying certain store brand groceries from them with your store discount card. $0.15/gal discount up to 20 gal per fuel purchase. I use it most of the time now. They had a few issues with getting bad gas some time back, but they're much better now and I've recently started using their gas station just for the discount. You can share fuel bucks points between members of your household if they each have their own store ValuCard.

Yes, I use the Exxon/Mobil Speedpass wand, which gives me a 6 cent off per gallon reward if I purchase 45 gallons a month. I was using the Exxon/Mobil Mastercard, but found when I link my Chase rewards credit card gives me 5% back and then other months I utilize my American Express card.
