Never got a chance to use them for emergency gas. Used them for tow, jump start, unlocked my car among other services they provide.

Only had one vehicle that had a faulty fuel capacity read-out, owned that car for six months. Never repaired it, but otherwise liked the vehicle as a secondary ride, ran it out of fuel once, then walked home 1/2 mile.

Made up a flexible dipstick to check the gas level, sold the car later for what I paid for it, a $400. clean, good-looking, well running, ride which made the next owner a Happy Guy! - his $400. Also once had AAA and never used the benefit only on discounts......

I've used AAA for emergency towing. I've never thought about using them for emergency gas. Hopefully, I'll never let it get that low.

No, not for fuel. I called them the other day to air up my tire so I could drive it to the tire shop. I'm a 35 year member. I've used them for a 100 mile and 200 mile tow before.

One of my stepsons has though. I purchased a gift membership for him. He ran out of gas 6 times within a short span! AAA will service your vehicle up to 4 times a year. He was charged for 2 service calls at $70 each. Didn't pay the $140 and went to collections. $70 for a couple gallons of gas. What a moron.
