Mileage: 27.5mpg Vehicle: 2006 4d Ford Escape 2.3L Manual
That is the best I've recorded recently since they started blending ethanol. Previously I would get over 29 mpg. Not bad for a small SUV.
It is interesting that Americans calculate mpg and people from other countries sometimes calculate how many liters it takes to go 100km. I dated a girl from Germany that would calculate it that way.

No brag with a large SUV unless it's about utility and comfort...

I cannot measure my truck against an EPA average since it is not required for HD vehicles.

How can you brag about the mileage you get when there's no standard to judge your mileage against? So someone gets 34 MPG with a Honda Fit. What's that mean? Is it good, normal or is it bad? Well if one compares that 34 MPG to the EPA estimates, it's pretty good since it's 3 MPG above the EPA estimate.
As for my 2004 Ford Ranger, I'm averaging almost 20 MPG which is about 133% of the EPA estimate.

My average 35.7 mpg (6.5 l/100 km)--and that's for a commute that is 80% hwy/20% city!
My best tank 40.6 mpg (5.8 l/100 km)

I am pretty happy getting 20MPG with my 2011 diesel Silverado. It has a lot more uses than any of your vehicles listed here other than Maintroll's truck. A "green" car does not fit in with what I need to use it for.

And most individuals will lie to you about this also. My Corolla S model gets about 28 mpg in the city and my truck gets about 15 mpg in the city in the winter time with ethanol crap in the gas.

46.5 MPG for best tank (combined city/highway), 43 MPG average since beginning of October and 41 MPG lifetime average over 26,000 miles.
2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI purchased 3/17/12.
Straight up internal combustion, no batteries required ;)
