I am my "ECO" mode. I get nearly the same mileage around town as I do on trips.

They can put all of the "modes" on them they want, but the gas milage with ethanol is the same sorry thing. Maybe they should put a commode on them also.

Mine doesn't have an eco mode. I just try to get into a higher gear at reasonably low rpms without "pinging".

no and the average mpg calculator is usually off by at least a gallon or more on your average.

We have that option on our 6 speed. The shift revs are way up in the Sport mode and much lower in the Eco setting. I haven't run a tank full in the Sport mode so don't know how much it kicks mileage. It does make the car a different machine and much more likely to attract tickets for playfulness.

Never heard of it, don't believe I want to either...I like horsepower and a lot of it when I want it.

My cars don't have that since they are manual transmissions. "Eco" mode is a feature of automatic transmissions that uses different shift-points for better MPG. Some auto-trans cars have "Sport" mode that changes shift behavior in the opposite direction.

Good morning, Mr. mblackiston ...
Your assignment is to spend time observing the fuel prices at gas stations in your area, and list them on a daily basis --> that way, we all can become more "ECO" ...
