BigHorne1: Time to join the 21st century. Two-dollar gas is a thing of the past. And get used to ethanol. Brazil has been using it for years without dire side effects. My 2009 Pontiac runs fine on E-85, though the mileage suffers-19 to 21 mpg this time of year instead of 24-25 mpg. The racing world is converting to E-85,too.

Yes, it is a Flexfuel car, but I'd NEVER put a drop of Ethanol in it.

My vehicle doesn't and my lawn mower, strictly says, do not put E85 in the gas tank.

Need to get rid of all this ethanol and get prices at the pump under two dollars a gallon.

Never get this economy back to improving, till you get prices at the pump under two dollars a gallon. It is starting to show, by consumers are pulling back at the pumps and stores, since fuel and utility costs are killing the wallet and budgets.

Local E85 is no more than $0.30/gallon less than E10. To break even E85 must be less than 2/3rds the price of E10. $3.00 for E10, $2.00 for E85.

Ethanol Apologists who can't be audited claim "we are not heating water". The EPA would bend over backwards to twist things in their baby's favor but can't formulate a lie good enough that they think they could get away with it. So EPA is forced to admit 30 MPG E10 returns 20 MPG on E85.

No stations to fill up with this fuel. I wanted to see if it's worth it when renting the ford E350 van.
