I have used the site to search and compare, but no posting of mileage yet. I am keeping a log on a recently purchased '08 car. I would like to add my fuel usage to their data, but have not looked at how to do that exactly.

Also, how does one know for sure whether their driving is 60/40 highway/city or 65/35, for example? What precisely constitues city vs. highway? A long stretch of 45 m.p.h. suburban road, is that city? Stop and start Interstate traffic for half an hour due to road construction or an accident, is that highway?

I suppose a reasonable approximation is the only answer.

i have checked it out and many years ago i did post for older cars i had.
I have learned that this information can be very misleading. many people only take the reading from the trip computer and only some times (usually to the times when it's higher)... I prefer looking at the mpg of long term use calculated from actual purchases. Like the fuel logbook for this and there are others...
