Where do you put your right foot when its not doing anything when on Cruise Control? Flat on the floor? Hover over the gas pedal? Somewhere else? (yikes!!!)

Sometimes it hovers over the brake in traffic and sometimes I rest it on the floor if there is no traffic.

Up on the dashboard! Then I put my seat back as far as it will go and relax. I don't see the road very well, but I arrive at my destination rested and stress-free.

Most of the time, I shift my heel slightly back, and allow my foot to hover over the gas pedal. According to some sort of study they did years ago, your reaction time to move your foot off the gas pedal to the brake pedal is much faster than if you put your foot in a non-standard position (like off to the side, or flat on the floor).

Varies. If traffic conditions are calm and I'm on a level stretch of freeway, I'll move my foot between next to the brake and the floor.

Otherwise, I'll keep it next to the brake - ready to go.
