Where do you put your right foot when its not doing anything when on Cruise Control? Flat on the floor? Hover over the gas pedal? Somewhere else? (yikes!!!)

When relaxed and then on C/C I generally have my driver's seat a bit farther rearward, and R Foot hovers over the Go-Pedal leaning against the mass of my center console/floor carpet.

I'm a L foot brake'r, been one since owning automatic tranny vehicles clear back to the early "60's" no problems. I once enjoyed the extra freedom of more leg room when owning my first FWD vehicle (flat front floor) and no floor hump center.

Most FWD vehicles have a center console that crowds my comfort style concerning long distant driving, meaning extra leg room. Actually I think the problem is a too wide of base with those consoles, not that they aren't needed but they, many seem to take up R leg/foot relaxation space.

They also always need extra cleaning, become a catch all clutter area for some drivers (too handy)! JMYOP.... L..90%/10%..R foot @ the brake pedal.

I normally adjust my seating back a notch that leaves my right foot just off the cruise pedal position a tiny bit. I still can fell the pedal rise and touch my foot when going down/grades as the cruise system backs the vehicles EFI throttle completely off then.

My brake foot is inches away relaxed but always ready, no problems. My right foot takes a nap when on cruise, like the Wife, Shush!.....

If I plan on using cruise control, I just leave my right foot at home.

Have we hit rock bottom with these questions yet?
