Did you know that by simply waxing your car you can gain about 2 miles per gallon more. Is it just me or is it true, what do you think

If you're always driving in city traffic, i.e., 15 to 25 average MPH you won't see any improvement by waxing your vehicle.

However, if your moving say 50+ MPH, you will see a difference.

I truly doubt it. the increase, I think, would be little to none. However your car will look nice!

It's just you ...or more precisely in your own mind!!!
I wax regularly ie. spring cleaning & readying for winter but it's for protection & looks, not mpg.

I don't do this but I don't believe the improvement in mpg would be significant.

The car & the SUV get detailed every 4 - 6 months... For better MPG ?? No, just to protect the paint and make 'em look good.

I wax to protect the paint and make it look good. Don't think you will get more than .5 MPG improvement overall.

No. There was no measurable difference in gas mileage over the many years I have waxed my vehicles and kept accurate gas mileage statistics.
