Did you know that by simply waxing your car you can gain about 2 miles per gallon more. Is it just me or is it true, what do you think

It's just you.

It's ridiculous to think waxing your car will increase your mileage. Maybe you just drive BETTER when you have a clean, freshly-waxed car?

Not any more. I used to, but it did not make any measurable difference in gas mileage.

the mini is so aerodynamically slick that I can't imagine waxing would do much... I mean, there are only a few corners which would face the wind flow... can see how it's easy to think this, though

No! I did not know that waxing helps gas mileage. I don't believe it is true but I will try it during the spring to see if I see a difference. It is too cool here in NC to wax my vehicle.

Waxing will have zero affect on mileage. It will have a large affect on smileage.
