About 14 mpg in a Dodge truck with a strong headwind for 3 or 4 hours - couldn't believe it when I filled up afterward. Usually get about 20 on the highway in 5th gear!

In my old Isuzu Trooper I got about 14 mpg on a regular basis. When I was 16 and driving my Dad's 76 Cadillac Sedan De Ville, I got between 9-12 mpg.

I had a 1970 Maverick. Blew something (don't remember what) and after that got about 8-9mpg. That really sucked!

That would be the Ford F-250 with the V-10 engine I had. It would average 10.5 around town. Got all the way up to 11.5 highway.

Do you prefer breathing polluted air over clean air?

My worst MPG was 16.945 the first month I had my Ranger. That was still better than the EPA weighted rating of 15.333. My overall mileage is 19.896.

I had a 72 Olds one time that they had just installed all of this government pollution junk on, and it only got about 8 mpg. I remedied that situation by taking some of it off.

Worst MPG is when I hit 8 of 10 lights red on main roads in most metro areas because the lights are set to frustate traffic.
