My yellow mustang might get 4 if I'm not hitting the gas, and my 66 pickup gets 10 on the highway. Lucky I don't drive either much or far.

higher than 15, but short trips and slush-plowing really pushes down the numbers

the cross trek just turned in something like 17.5, which was a very short tank after about 100 miles of almost exclusively short runs in the snow... and the mini fell below 30, gets a nice, solid 40-plus in the summer

I think several years ago when I drove a '01 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7L V6, I had a tank with about 18 mpg during a very cold winter in NE Ohio. Otherwise that car gave me about 27 mpg on hwy and 20 in city.

@Mertieman I have an 83 Olds 98 Regency and it gets about 12mpg. I think it should be getting atleast 15. Those 3mpg would equal another 75 miles per tank!

My worst fuel economy was 7 MPG. 1995 Chevy Blazer. Generally, I averaged between 7 and 9 MPG. The computer was completely screwed up.

In the single digits or below diesel mileage tanks on very short trips, like mid-teens, compared to normal weather average of about 36 mpg (mixed city/highway, mostly city).
